Maison de Sade is the heritage of the famous Marquis de Sade, philosopher and writer of the XVIII century in France. Our company is a wine producer in Rhône Valley since 1786, family-owned estate, and focus on high quality wines, gastronomy and life style.
Maison de Sade has been created by the Marquis de Sade in the XVIII century with a high focus on the art of living and gastronomy. Producer of wine since 6 generations, the Domaine Sade is located in the heart of the Rhône Valley, in Luberon. Maison de Sade is producing several appellations amongst others Côtes du Rhône, Luberon, Ventoux, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Saint Joseph... Apart from our vineyards, Maison de Sade counts with 3 historical Chateaux owned by the Marquis. The oldest one from XIII's century is currently a museum about Sade. Another one located in Mazan (Ventoux) is now transformed into a hotel with restaurant. Today, the brand Marquis de Sade is sold over 35 countries and has a worldwide recognition, winning every year lot of awards from international competitions.
